Logan started his first day of Kindergarten today and Ethan was off to a rough start on his second day... however, was able to participate is his assessments later in the day (a major breakthrough) with his teacher. Amy is working hard to get her sea legs back in the classroom as day 2 is completed. She works with an amazing group of teachers and professionals and the expectation level is very high. Amy hopes to hit her stride before her masters class begins in September.
I, on the other hand, am learning to adjust to a new and unfamiliar role as the stay-at-home parent. As a Polson male, our capacity for compassion and nurturing is unsurpassed (know that I was unable to type that without smiling). I am hoping to use this time while everyone else is at school to get caught up on projects around the house and keeping the house from falling apart while working only on sermon preparations for each week.
I am hoping to begin my candidacy for the Oklahoma Conference soon. I went by the local UM church today in hopes of asking the pastor if he would assist me with the entrance requirements for my candidacy. We had attended this church when we first moved to Wilmore and really enjoyed this pastor. We only left to find a stronger children's ministry for the boys.
I hope all is well with you and yours as you track the perpetual motion lives of the Kentucky Polson clan.
