So, I am plugging away at another semester and hanging in there with trying to keep up... except for Hebrew. Just when the teaching fellow announced that we had caught up from missing a day due to snow, it felt as though he really started flying.
I was doing a fair job keeping up with it all until I went down with a sinus / ear infection. I have been behind the eight ball every since. I find the curriculum and teaching fellow well organized. However, the pace of the course insane! I think 8 lessons a week a bit too much. I realize that this is graduate level work. However, when the teaching fellow has little more time than to basically read the subheadings of a lesson, much less actually spend time 'teaching'... I am just a touch bit frustrated.
We are adding 20-30 vocabulary words weekly and when we are testing our knowledge we must not only recall the newly assigned vocabulary but the additional prefixes, suffixes, articles, etc., we may be learning in addition, modifying the vocabulary words. Say what?
Fortunately, I have a very small subscriber-ship and to those of you who actually took to time to read all of this... I am so sorry. However, I feel better having the opportunity to share in this adventure called Hebrew...
