One of these books was assigned reading for this last Tuesday's class including a two page reflection of the text. One of these books was longer and a tougher read. The other, I am afraid, is the one I actually read and completed the assignment thirty minutes before class with only three hours of sleep the night before.
I am quite impressed with my ability to tackle an entire book with reflection within a fourteen hour time frame in between three hours of sleep, meals, and a morning and afternoon bus route. (I must note that I will be much more diligent in future endeavors to avoid a repeat performance!)
After my professor stopped laughing at me, he said he would grade the paper I had completed because it is actually due in another two weeks and that I might at least skim the actual assigned reading before next class so as to be able to engage in the conversation. I can turn in my reflection on the assigned reading when the future assigned reading is due.
Ain't seminary fun!

Bwahahahahahahah!
Bless your heart.
Just checking in to let you know that I stopped by.
If I'd been the instructor at least I'd have known that you were committed to the course work . . . I'd still have laughed. :-)
That is awesome!!!
I remember being so exhausted that I fell asleep on the front row of Dr. Jerry Walls' class. He was so shocked anyone would do that, he let me sleep.
Memories...thanks for a great story!
